dynoTRUCK Quick and Effective Solution
The device features a compact and robust housing made of aluminum and high-quality plastics.
Installation takes approximately 2 minutes, after which the system is ready for measurement.
Vehicle weight must be entered before performing a measurement. For maximum accuracy, weighing the vehicle on a scale is recommended.
The device is equipped with an integrated temperature and atmospheric pressure sensor capable of measuring temperatures from -40 °C to +105 °C and atmospheric pressure from 300 hPa to 1100 hPa.
Communication with the dynoTRUCK Probe is provided via Bluetooth technology. The dynoTRUCK Probe is powered by an internal rechargeable battery, providing up to 5 hours of operation.
Measurement results are available in both raw and normalized formats according to DIN 70020, SAE J1349, and EEC 80/1269 standards. Measurement repeatability is better than ±1% when the same test procedure and conditions are maintained.
The system has no time or usage limitations on the number of measurements performed. Free software updates and technical support are included.
The device is covered by a 2-year warranty, with the option to extend the warranty period.
Device Installation
Instant assembly and disassembly of the dynamometer, makes it possible to take measurements anywhere and anytime, which will be most appreciated by mobile workshops.
Installation and Measurement with dynoTRUCK
Device Installation and Measurement Procedure
Device installation consists of several steps:
- Installing the GPS antenna on the vehicle roof
- Connecting the GPS antenna to the dynoTRUCK Probe and placing the probe in a safe location inside the vehicle
- Starting the tablet and the dynoTRUCK software
A power measurement typically requires approximately 1 km of road, preferably flat and free of significant elevation changes.
Measurement Procedure
The measurement process consists of the following stages:
- Select the MEASUREMENT menu.
- Configure the vehicle profile by entering:
- Vehicle name
- Vehicle weight
- Drivetrain type
- Perform the measurement:
- Start the measurement in the software.
- Begin driving smoothly.
- Shift into 11th gear and accelerate at full throttle through the entire RPM range.
- At the end of the acceleration phase, shift into neutral. The software will automatically start a 10-second coast-down phase to calculate rolling resistance and aerodynamic drag. Several additional options are available to modify the measurement method.
- The software automatically calculates vehicle power and torque and displays the results to the user.
- Generate a measurement report. The software can generate reports in PDF, JPG, and CSV formats and allows them to be sent by e-mail or shared using any messaging application.
User Interface and Example Measurements
The dynoTRUCK software provides an intuitive user interface for vehicle configuration, measurement acquisition, result analysis, and report generation. Measurement results are presented in graphical form and can be compared, archived, exported, and shared.
The package includes
Wireless dynoTRUCK Probe with Integrated Weather Station
The dynoTRUCK Probe is made of aluminum and communicates via Bluetooth technology. The probe features an integrated GPS receiver, ambient temperature sensor, and atmospheric pressure sensor. The dynoTRUCK Probe is powered by an internal rechargeable battery, providing up to 5 hours of operation. The battery is charged through a USB-C connector.
